Journalling has been a great tool for me in my manifesting practice. It makes me feel more aligned with myself and my journey.
Journalling really helps me to focus on my goals and to express my thoughts and feelings about them in a clear and organised way.
I find that writing down my intentions and reflecting on them helps me to stay focused and to stay motivated.
It’s also a great way for me to communicate my desires with the Universe, so she can help co-create with me. I let go of the notion of how I will achieve my goals.
Journalling also allows me to track my progress, to recognise when I am making progress and to take action when I am not.
It can also help me to identify areas where I may need to make changes or adjustments in order to better reach my goals.
10 tips for successful journalling
There is no right or wrong way to journal. When you are just starting out, it’s ok to experiment and find what works for you. Here are a few tips to help you on your journalling journey.
Set aside a specific time in your day to journal. Make it a regular part of your daily routine.
Pick the right location for journalling. Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed.
Buy a journal you enjoy looking at and writing in. Add photos and other elements to make it your own!
Try different writing styles to see what works best for you. You can write in list form, draw pictures, write a story, or just write whatever comes to mind.
Don’t worry about making mistakes in your writing. Journalling is meant to be a safe place to express yourself without judgement.
Don’t compare your journalling to anyone else’s. Your journalling is unique to you, so don’t worry about what others are doing.
Don’t be afraid to write about difficult topics. It can be a great way to process and release your emotions.
Be honest with yourself. Write about your thoughts and feelings honestly, even if it’s uncomfortable.
Give yourself grace. If you miss a day of journalling, that’s OK! Pick it up again as soon as you can.
Celebrate your successes. If you’ve been journalling for a while, take a moment to recognise your progress.
